Deze Biografie is een tekst in wording en blijft zichzelf aanpassen met de dagen die Jörgen aan elkaar dicht. 

Jörgen Gario ook wel bekend als UNOM is een Antiliaanse dichter geboren op Sint Maarten. Hij schrijft in het nederlands, engels en papiamentu.

Eind 2006 nam hij deel aan een spoken word workshop in Nowhere, wat daarna uitgroeide tot landelijke dichters netwerk genaamd Poetry Circle Nowhere. Hij is nu één van de coaches/workshopmaster die jong talent begeleid.

Elk optreden is een ervaring. Sindsdien speelt hij ook de gitaar en ukulele en heeft geintergreerd in zijn shows en produceert hij ook electronische muziek. In zijn experimenteerd reggae en dancehall roots met

Jörgen  UNOM JG (Untouchable Nobody Outplays Many Jörgen Gario) born on Saint Maarten and raised both in the Caribbean and in the Netherlands.

He is a student of life’s need for creation and expression. Exploring a diverse range of musical genre’s from hip hop to folk, lounge and back to his roots of reggae/dancehall music. Experimenting with the traditional reggae/dancehall sound, the positive motivating message infusing it with philosophy, his mind and heart are set on pushing poetic frontiers of music. With his energetic stage presence and his thought provoking lyrics he is an artist that once you have seen him, you will remember.

He is part of the original Poetry Circle Nowhere of Amsterdam formed in 2008. A platform for young poets who write for performance on stages and pages.More info here The Poetry Circle Nowhere.

Besides performing he has also been giving a broad scala of workshops for all ages the past 9 years, column writing, from page to performance training, poetry and spoken word, in search of definition of freedom?.
